Incredibly Impressed…

I read his story “An Hour Before the Hangman” in the book “The Trading Post and Other Frontier Stories” and was incredibly impressed. I love how the entire thing is contained to a single setting. It’s basically just two people, in a room, talking – which is an incredibly difficult style to write in and actually pull it off well. It really speaks to the author’s ability to write dialogue, which in my opinion is one of the most important aspects of any story in any format. I would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates skilled writing.
