52 Western writers. 52 Western short stories. All starting with the same sixteen words: I slowly poured a full glass of bourbon and took my time lighting a good cigar. These micro-shorts (they’re each 500 words long) scatter off into 52 fascinating, action-filled directions, no two alike. Bourbon bottles and gunfights? Strong men and stronger women? Hangings, horse thieves and fistfights? You got ’em—and more! You can race through these great stories or savor them, but either way, you’ll love seeing how different and creative 52 writers can be.
Bourbon and a Good Cigar
Well Worth Purchasing…
All different styles of stories to be read, all of which were really interesting. Some were funny to read, well worth purchasing for yourself!

A Lot Of Variety In The Collection…
Writing a full story in flash fiction format is tough. Making it exactly 500 words is tougher. I commend all the authors in this anthology who put their best foot forward.
