10 Historical Photos You Have Probably Never Seen

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll try to keep my words to a minimum and just let you enjoy these wonderful moments from history as seen in these rare photographs that you have probably never seen before – that is unless you are a frequent visitor to my Facebook page where some of these photos have appeared.

History has been under attack lately, and I don’t plan on using this forum to weigh in on that debate. No matter which side of the debate you are on, I think that one thing that we can all agree on is that history does teach us something (exactly what it teaches us is, I believe, where the crux of the argument lies). George Santayana said, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” So let’s remember our history; its beauty, its accomplishments, and its tragic failures, if for no other reason than it’s our history, and we’ve invested so much into it.

Enjoy…
